13 Months
The first
daycare that we took her to wasn’t working for us. We already felt like Madison
was experiencing a lot of change and the daycare wasn’t very organized so it
was just making it worse. Madison has been going to her new daycare for about three
weeks now. It’s called Stepping Stones and it has been a good experience so
far. She has made many new friends. However, as I mentioned in earlier posts,
Madison is a dare devil. So, she has been falling a lot trying to go above and
beyond her abilities. Mike and I decided to take her to the mall to get her big
girl tennis shoes. Although the experience was not fun (Madison does not yet appreciate
shopping), we were able to get her some Nike airs with pink accents. She looks
so fabulous… and they give good ankle support too! In addition, she has fully
transitioned to a sippy cup and takes naps in a knapsack! Go Madison!
Madison is
loving living in Houston. She has already spent a ton of time with her
grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins… she has even attended her cousins
hockey game!
